iVita launches Project "Interoperable Remote Health Innovation Brought to Scale (IRHIS)"
The Health Technology Cluster "iVita," together with 21 partners from 13 European regions, has begun implementing a new European Union-funded project titled Remote Health Innovation Brought to Scale (IRHIS).
The project, funded by the European Union's I3-2023-INV2a program, will run from September 2, 2024, to September 1, 2027.
IRHIS aims to accelerate the upscale of remote health innovations and innovators offering AI-powered, cutting-edge sensor solutions, wearable devices, and remote monitoring solutions across three critical EU remote care areas: musculoskeletal rehabilitation, neurological disorder treatment, and critical patient conditions. By leveraging Big Data, Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Machine Learning, IRHIS will personalise clinical paths and improve patient outcomes while ensuring regulatory compliance and cross-device interoperability.
During the project, 8 innovative technologies developed by EU MedTech SMEs will be advanced. The aim is to integrate growing companies from less developed regions into global value chains, thereby promoting the implementation of innovative remote care solutions.
