Excellent start for the new Baltic Sea Region Cluster Manager Education

The new Baltic Sea Region Cluster Manager Education, co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, started in Early September (1-3.9.2020) with 24 participants from 8 countries – Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Sweden.

The first module, which focuses on improving collaboration and leadership skills, is led by Hyper Island in Sweden. During the first sessions, the cluster managers learned how to efficiently plan and facilitate virtual meetings using different virtual collaboration tools. These skills are of ultimate importance due to the present situation, caused by the virus pandemic when most meetings are virtual. The training was also implemented remotely. This itself provided a good demonstration of how to efficiently use remote meeting tools.

The participants especially appreciated the high relevance of the topics, the practical “learning by doing” approach, the use of virtual meeting tools, the experience of the Hyper Island staff, and the possibility to meet and learn from other cluster managers.
The first module ends in November and is followed by the second module starting in December 2020.
